Always know the owner of the company - or the parent company. For Ditech, they are wholly owned by GMAC Mortgage. Personally, I believe this is a good thing - large, well backed and solid. Truthfully, I do not know why they do it like this; like a sales front company. They also own Homecomings Financial.
